CRC FEST 2
Saturday, October 3 • Grizzle Beer Doors open at 12 PM • Music starts at 1 PM Tickets: $20 This one means a lot to us at MWCA. 💛 CRC Fest is held in loving memory of Christopher Rist Coffman, and the Coffman family has been woven into the life of our art center for many years. Christopher was already part of MWCA when I first came here. His brother, Zach Coffman, has been on our staff for eight years and is the lead singer of Intension. Their mom, Donna Coffman, is our Education Chair, a longtime teacher and dear friend, and their dad, Chris Coffman, is one of our volunteers. Sam Coffman is the drummer of Intension. So when Intension created this annual music festival in Christopher’s memory — and chose to use it to support MWCA — it became something especially meaningful to all of us here. Each year, Intension brings together a fantastic lineup of bands from the Atlanta-to-Athens music scene for an afternoon of live music, friendship and community, with proceeds benefiting us here at Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts. We are deeply grateful to Zach, Sam, the Coffman family, Intension, all of the participating musicians, and Grizzle Beer for continuing to honor Christopher in such a generous and joyful way. Come spend the afternoon with us. Hear some great music, raise a glass, gather with friends, and be part of a day that celebrates music, memory, family and community. ❤️ 📍 Grizzle Beer, Monroe 🚪 Doors: 12 PM 🎸 Music: 1 PM |
