​supports writers and readers of all kinds — through free gatherings, discussion groups, workshops, and author events throughout the year.  Some offerings are ongoing and drop-in; others open for registration seasonally.

• Combo Writers Group

Third Friday of each month · 10:30 AM–12:30 PM
No meetings in November or December
This is a shared meeting of two independent writing groups:

• Scribblers Christian Writers Club – A faith-based writing group open to visitors; attend once to see if it’s a good fit before joining.
• Southern Sisters in Crime Writers Group – Open to anyone who enjoys mystery writing or reading; you do not need to be a mystery writer to participate.
