Summer is in full swing, and things are heating up at Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts — but don’t worry, we’ve got plenty of cool ways for you to stay creative, connected, and inspired this month!

 BEACH, PLEASE! — Saturday, July 12 | 10am–5pm
Join us for a splashy day of fun during Monroe’s citywide “Beach, Please” celebration!
We’ll be hosting FOUR beach-themed drop-in art workshops for all ages — jellyfish painting, seashell art, macramé, and paradise board painting! No registration needed — just come create with us!

 SPECIAL WORKSHOP with DEBRA YAUN — Saturday, July 26
This is a rare opportunity to learn from a nationally recognized artist and Art Ambassador for Holbein & Ampersand!

•  Watercolor: 10–12 ($25)
•  Acrylic: 1–3 ($25)
• Take one or both — all supplies included!

 “GEORGIA ON MY MIND” Show + Sale — July 30–Sept 8
 MEMBERS ONLY!
What does Georgia mean to you? Show us through your art! Think: barns, peaches, the ATL skyline, small towns, beaches, mountains, and more.
Enter up to 4 works for just $20.
This is a non-juried, show & sale — customers can take art home during the exhibit and artists can restock anytime!

 REGIONAL JURIED SHOW — Submissions Open NOW through August 10
One of our biggest and most prestigious shows of the year!
This is your chance to exhibit alongside some of the most talented artists in the region.
