Summer is in full swing, and things are heating up at Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts — but don’t worry, we’ve got plenty of cool ways for you to stay creative, connected, and inspired this month! BEACH, PLEASE! — Saturday, July 12 | 10am–5pm Join us for a splashy day of fun during Monroe’s citywide “Beach, Please” celebration! We’ll be hosting FOUR beach-themed drop-in art workshops for all ages — jellyfish painting, seashell art, macramé, and paradise board painting! This is a non-juried, show & sale — customers can take art home during the exhibit and artists can restock anytime!
