Professional Therapeutic Art Services
“Some things in life are too big for words, and some are better left unsaid.
Others are simply unspeakable.
This is where languages native to all -- light and shadow, texture and form --
have the power to meet us, to hear us, to say for us all that we cannot, and give us peace.”
~ Gracy Bondy, MWCA Therapeutic Arts Practitioner

Human Services Professional and Certified Therapeutic Arts Practitioner, Gracy Bondy specializes in integrating creative and nature-based processes to support individuals and families through life’s challenges. With nearly two decades of experience in local, international, and child welfare settings, she has remained deeply committed to walking alongside people through seasons of grief, recovery, and growth.
During fifteen years in humanitarian social services, she worked extensively with trauma-affected populations in under-resourced regions of the world, serving vulnerable children, at-risk youth, and families navigating displacement, exploitation, disability, abuse, and complex life transitions. These experiences shaped her relational, culturally responsive, and compassion-centered approach to care. A native of Walton County, Gracy trained as an artist at Penland School of Craft, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling from Point University, and is completing her Master of Social Work at Albany State University. She has advanced training in therapeutic arts, art-assisted grief support, trauma-informed group facilitation, animal-assisted interventions, and nature-based practices, including forest bathing and blue therapy models. She is a member of the American Art Therapy Association, the American Psychological Association, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and the National Association of Social Workers, and maintains ongoing professional development and consultation with licensed supervisors to ensure her work reflects current best practices and ethical standards. Sessions are thoughtfully tailored to each client’s context and goals, drawing from experience in mixed media, textiles, clay, visual story-work, and expressive arts methodologies. Her services are grounded in trauma-informed human services practice, strengths-based and non-clinical in nature, and do not include psychotherapy, diagnosis, or mental health treatment. She works with adults, youth, and children through individual and family sessions, support groups, workshops, and immersive nature retreats.
