📝 Registration & Payment
- Payment = registration. Spots are held on a first-paid basis.
- Many ongoing classes offer Try-It (single class) and bundle options.
- Membership is optional, but members may receive class discounts and perks.
- Pottery Open Studio fees are paid at the front desk each visit and support tools, glazes, and repairs. Abuse of Open Studio access may result in suspension.
📬 Communication
- Check your email or texts regularly — instructors may send updates or details.
- Direct class questions to your instructor (some prefer text).

🧑🎨 Classroom Expectations (All Ages)
To keep classes calm, welcoming, and productive:
- Stay engaged and attentive during class.
- Keep side conversations to a minimum.
- Be respectful of instructors, classmates, and supplies.
- Disruptive behavior may result in removal from class or suspension of participation.
👧 Children, Teens & Special Needs
- Students are expected to follow instructions and treat materials with care.
- If behavior issues persist, a parent/guardian may be asked to attend.
- Some classes are designed specifically for special needs; in others, one-on-one support may be required.
- Instructors may suggest alternative classes if a program is not a good fit.

🤒 Health & Safety
- Please do not attend class if you’ve had fever, vomiting, rash, or similar symptoms within 24 hours.
- You may return after being 24 hours symptom-free (without medication) or with a doctor’s OK.
❄️ Weather Closures
- If Walton County Schools are closed, MWCA is closed.
- Updates are posted on Faceboook. www.facebook.com/monroewaltoncenterforthearts & Instagram @monroewaltonarts.
🔁 Cancellations & Missed Classes
- Classes canceled less than 3 days before the start are non-refundable.
- For weekly classes, please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you’ll miss a class.
- Makeups are at the instructor’s discretion.
- If MWCA or the instructor cancels, the class will be rescheduled or refunded.
- Approved refunds are 95% of payment to cover processing fees.
💡 After You Register
- Watch for a confirmation email from your instructor.
- Note any SUPPLY needs that you are required to bring to class (if any)
- Cash preferred for supply fees paid at class (if any)
- Wear comfy, mess-friendly clothes; bring snacks or drinks if you’d like.
- Some classes are upstairs or downstairs (pottery). We do not have an elevator — contact the instructor with mobility concerns.
