PAYMENTS
Our Square Point of Sale system can be a little confusing, and there's nothing we can do about this. Our best instructions:
1 - make your selection
2 - answer the questions
3 - click ATTEND
4 - a pop up screen "YOUR CART" should appear, click CONTINUE TO CART ~ OR ~ click on the "shopping cart" icon on the top of your screen
5 - check the quantity and other info (edit if needed)
6 - click CONTINUE TO PAYMENT and complete -- you can use SquarePay, GooglePay or scroll down to enter debit or credit cards
If all else fails, you can call the art center to pay over the phone: 770-207-8937

Walton Writers hosts three on-going events here at MWCA, especially geared toward writers -- from budding writers to published authors. These meetings are free and open to the public. Joining Walton Writers Facebook group is recommended to help you stay up-to-date on their meetings and workshops.
Hosted by our Literary Arts Chair, Walton Writers founder and published author Barbara Barth. SUNDAY WRITE-IN: Every Sunday from 1:30 - 4:30 pm. This FREE Creative Gathering is open to anyone interested in writing. Feel free to drop in Sundays anytime between 1:30 - 4:30 to write in a supportive environment or chat with others about writing - hosted by writer, Barbara Barth. Bring a snack and drink if you'd like! FIRST THURSDAY WALTON WRITERS MEETING: Meetings hosted through ZOOM online. Meets every first Thursday (of most months) from 6 - 8 pm. Topics and speakers vary from month-to-month. In November and December they will have a different meeting schedule due to city of Monroe events on the usual meeting nights. Email Barbara for more info. Third Saturday Open Mic Night hosted by Walton Writers (comedy, storytelling, music) from 7 – 9 pm. Not Your Mama's Book Club meets in our Book Nook the last Tuesday of each month from 7 - 9 pm. No Meetings in December. Enjoy reading? Southern Sisters in Crime Writers Group meets the last Sunday of every month (except November-December) at 3:00 They are members of the National Sisters in Crime. You do not have to be a mystery writer to join, just enjoy the genre. SCRIBBLERS Christian Writers Club Scribblers Christian Writers Club (www.scribblersweb.com) meets the third Friday of each month at 11:30am. To be a regular participant, you must be a Scribblers Member, but you may visit one time to see if the group is a good fit for you. NOTE: Scribblers takes a break during the summer.
