For any of our events or workshops, including *ticketed* classes that you have to pre-pay or pre-register for, you can ONLY get your tickets through us or the instructor for the workshop. Rarely, spammers post on our social media that you can buy "their ticket". *DO NOT* do this. >

PAYMENTS
Our Square Point of Sale system can be a little confusing, and there's nothing we can do about this. Our best instructions:

1 - make your selection
2 - answer the questions
3 - click ATTEND
4 - a pop up screen "YOUR CART" should appear, click CONTINUE TO CART ~ OR ! look for the "shopping cart" symbol at the top of your screen.
5 - check the quantity and other info (edit if needed)
6 - click CONTINUE TO PAYMENT and complete -- you can use SquarePay, GooglePay or scroll down to enter debit or credit cards

If all else fails, you can call the art center to pay over the phone: 770-207-8937

FALL BREAK ART CAMP
October 14 - 18 (Walton Co Fall Break)
REGISTER HERE by October 9
Fee per camp (includes all supplies): $170 for members; $185 for non-members

Choose one camp OR both!

9am - noon: Mixed Media Camp with Eileen Driscoll

1 - 4pm: Pottery Camp with Rebecca Braswell

Choose both camps - the campers will have a supervised lunch break from 12 - 1pm.

Registration is not complete until payment is received. Seating is limited and camps fill quickly!

AGES: 6 - 13

You can sign up for ONE or BOTH camps. If you sign up for both camps your child will bring a lunch for a supervised lunch break from 12 - 1. Seating is very limited!

After School Arts Program
Mondays & Tuesdays – Sept – April only
Begins September 2024.

ART ASAP (After School Arts Program)
General Art classes with different projects, tools and emphasis on skills each four to six weeks. Kids work at their own age-appropriate level.

MONDAYS

4 – 5 pm --- ages 6 - 9 with Donna Coffman
5:15 - 6:15 --- ages 10+ with Donna Coffman

TUESDAYS

4 – 5 pm --- ages 7 - 9 with Donna Coffman
5:15 - 6:15 --- ART 2 for advanced art students ages 10+ with Donna Coffman

Kids will try out different forms of art each month.

FEES: The monthly class fee is $65 members/ $75 non-members, plus a $10 monthly supply fee. (see benefits of membership and how to join HERE)

Pottery for kids
Wednesdays 4:45 – 5:45
Ages 9 and up.
Instructor: Rebecca Braswell

This class continues year-round with the exception of the month of July.

Rebecca will teach both hand-built and wheel-thrown pottery.

Teens only class - age 13+: Tuesdays 5 - 6 pm

Fee for one month:
$80 for members;
$95 for non-members.
$30 for a bag of clay, includes studio glazes. $30 for a set of tools.

Fun for kids aged 6 to about age 12!

This class fills quickly -- registration closes 24 hours before class or when the class is full.

If discipline or behavior issues arise, at MWCA’s teacher’s discretion, we may request that a parent or other responsible adult attend class and assist with the student’s instruction. Our art classes are a step above what is commonly offered and are technique-based. Very often, fine art supplies and tools are used (not craft-level). As such, concentration and attention to instruction is needed; disruption cannot be an on-going concern. When necessary, MWCA reserves the right to refund any unused class fees and suspend the student from further participation. Students are expected to behave in an age-appropriate manner, sit in a classroom setting, take instruction and handle art supplies and equipment with care and respect. Thank you for understanding.
