This February, we’re spreading a little love around town! Look for Valentine-themed postcards at participating local businesses, write a short poem or heartfelt message, and help create Hearts on Display—a community art & poetry project celebrating connection, creativity, and kindness. Selected cards will be featured in a special MWCA display after Valentine’s Day. Join in and share the love! 💌 |

Makers Hearth: A Free Creative Gathering
Mondays from 7 - 9pm starting Feb 2 Makers Hearth is a welcoming, come-as-you-are creative hangout designed for connection, comfort, and creativity. There’s no agenda and no teaching — just a shared space to work on your own art or craft while enjoying the company of other creative souls. Bring whatever you’re making (or dreaming about making), your favorite drink, and a snack if you like. Whether you stay the whole time or pop in for a bit, Makers Hearth is about slowing down, feeling at home, and creating together. 🕯 Mondays, 7–9 PM 🎨 Bring your own project 🍷 BYO beverage & snacks optional 💛 Free | No registration required Pull up a chair. Don’t miss our annual SOUP-er Bowl -- one of the most fun (and tasty!) days of the year at MWCA! Choose a beautiful, hand-crafted pottery bowl made by our talented potters (with special thanks to Rebecca Braswell and many wonderful volunteers), then enjoy soup or chili to-go plus a dessert—just in time for Super Bowl weekend. While you’re here, jump into the fun with drop-in workshops. ✨ Minimum $18 donation - helps fund our non-profit art center - includes a bowl, soup or chili to-go, and dessert ⏰ Serving starts at 11:30 AM (while supplies last) 🎉 Lots of food, creativity, and community—come early and bring a friend!
