We will be open from 11am - 8pm on Thursdays, except for Thanksgiving. This is a city-wide event... from the City: November 30th: Marshmallow roasting on Court Street. Carriage Rides: reservations required. $10 per person. Reservations will open online and will be first come first served. Rides will be in 10 minute increments from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. You will be assigned a time. You must arrive 15 minutes prior to your ride time. If you miss your time, you forfeit your ride. Times cannot be rescheduled and there are no refunds. December 14th: Photos with Grinch in the pocket park and marshmallow roasting on Court Street. Carriage Rides: reservations required. $10 per person. Old Time Open Music Jam
Third Saturday of each month from 1 - 4 pm. You're invited to drop by and listen ... or join in and play! Free and open to the public. Old time open jam --- acoustic instruments only: fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, bass. Be ready to join in if you'd like -- old time music only. During pleasant weather, we can jam outdoors in the sculpture garden. |
MWCA ART GUILD One of the benefits of MWCA membership is inclusion in our Art Guild -- if you're a Member, you're in the Guild! Our Art Guild sponsors various events throughout the year -- art talks, how-to's, the "business of art" talks, field trips, potlucks etc. All free (unless there's an admittance fee for an outing). Our next Guild Get-together will be our annual Pot-Luck before the Monroe Parade on December 7! Bring a favorite Christmas finger food dish to share at 5:30. And join us for some birthday cake to wish MWCA a happy 30th!! If you're a member - you're invited to come and then watch the parade at 6:30. |
Monroe Makers FROM 1 - 3 - free creative gatherings! Drop-in! Free drop-in "do your own thing" and/or paint angels with Grace - from 1 - 3. All supplies provided. Bring a snack and hang out, fellowship, make new friends while you paint angels for our ART MD kits! Ages 14+ *You are welcome to bring your own projects and supplies, too, if you'd like to do your own thing.* |
