ABOUT THE TOUR Monroe’s Christmas Tour is about heart, history, and hometown charm. 🌟 Our festive tour celebrates the beauty of real homes lovingly decorated for the season — from cozy historic cottages and thoughtfully restored mill houses to a stately mansion and a beautifully styled modern home. Each one reflects the creativity, warmth, and community spirit that make Monroe so special. Come experience the magic of Christmas in our small Southern town, where every door opens with a smile and every room tells a story. 🎄 Enjoy your day in Monroe's historic downtown, too - we invite you to shop and eat before or after the tour! Specials from our downtown businesses and restaurants will be listed as they come in, so check back often! 🌟 This year’s tour features seven private homes and three historic venues, each decked out in festive holiday style. Gather your family and friends, slip on your coziest Christmas sweater, and spend a magical day exploring some of the prettiest and most charming homes in our area. HOW IT WORKS
Tickets are sold ONLY through Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts — online or in person at 205 S. Broad St. Ignore anyone posting tickets for sale elsewhere — they’re scammers! 🎟️❌ Map Brochure Pick-Up Window: The map brochure is your ticket into the homes on the tour and is required! 📅 December 1 – December 13 (anytime during art center hours, up to the start of the tour). Bring your Zeffy e-ticket to claim your map brochure. HOURS

At checkout, you’ll see an optional donation to Zeffy. Because we use Zeffy, 100% of your purchase goes to MWCA and MJWC. This fee is optional — you can set it to $0 or add a small amount to help keep Zeffy free for nonprofits like MWCA. We’re grateful for Zeffy’s support, so if you’re able, please consider adding $1–$2. Thank you! Please note: Because MWCA is hosting the ticketing site, it may look like donations only benefit MWCA. • We recommend walking shoes and comfortable clothing.
• Purchase of tickets is limited to adults and children over 12. Everyone who enters must have a ticket.
• Please look only, please don’t touch the décor. Be careful and respectful as you visit the homes.
• Restrooms are available at MWCA and at The Monroe Country Day School (first floor, handicapped accessible), but not at the private homes.
• PARKING: Be mindful of traffic on narrow streets so that no driveways are blocked, and emergency vehicles have room to pass. Do not park on the grass unless approved by the homeowner. If possible, park in one of the nearby public parking lots and walk to the home.
• Please follow instructions given by the Volunteers.
• NO REFUNDS.
