Happy summer to you all! (this was emailed on 6/8/23)
Just making sure you know about a MEMBERS-ONLY event this Saturday! It's been on our website, in our "big" Mailchimp newsletters and on Facebook ... but just in case ... Guild Meeting Photo Light Box Demo Saturday, June 10th 2:00pm Exciting news! MWCA has purchased a light box for members to photograph their artwork for social media and promotion purposes. Photographer Gina Bramble will teach an instructional demo with lighting tips and tricks utilizing the new equipment. The lightbox will then be available for members to use anytime the art center is open. Learning how to use the equipment independently by attending this meeting is highly recommended as staff may not always be available to assist. FREE to members only. If you'd like to join MWCA, drop by the center or learn more HERE Please contact Juli Tredwell at [email protected] to RSVP or if you have any questions. ******** VOLUNTEERS NEEDED We are in the beginning planning stages for TWO big events here in support of MWCA: * The Christmas Tour of Homes in December and * a NEW event, ARTINI, to be held in April 2024. We need dedicated and hard-working volunteers to serve on the planning committees for these exciting events. Would you like more information? Contact Lori Volk, our volunteer coordinator, and she will help you find your place here -- make new friends and MAKE A DIFFERENCE! ******** A NEW FUN EVENT: LEARN more HERE ******** UPCOMING SHOWS -- learn more HERE
