Email me and I'll put you on the list. I’d like to meet in August. Wednesdays or Fridays during the day would work for me. I’m thinking a Wednesday maybe at 3:00 ish or a Friday anytime between 11-4. I will have the dates of the various shows basically roughed out. I just need ideas and input about how to have the best - most robust - most interesting - and great selling art shows around!! There is absolutely nothing wrong with googling other art galleries and seeing what kind of shows they are putting on that look interesting to you! Of course we will have our members show in January and then the student art shows start in February that takes us through about the middle of May. We end the year with the Christmas show in November and December. So we need to plan about three (four at the most) shows between May and October. If you know me, you know that I'm not a huge fan of the regional juried show that we hold in the fall, but I’m happy to hear pros and cons about continuing to do that show or alternatives. If enough of you want to continue with the juried show, we will do it, but I need help. Please let me know if you’re interested and helping to plan the gallery shows and what dates you can meet in August. Thank you. 3 --MEMBERS MORNING MINGLE Saturday, July 20 at 10:00am Come enjoy coffee, light snacks & most importantly fellowship! Those who are interested will make tutus (easy craft project) with tulle and all supplies provided by Barbara Mock of Tutu Capers. She notes that after volunteering for the Garden Tour, she got a glimpse at how much we have to do and realized she could help out a little more, so she has stepped up to help coordinate volunteers.
