Hello to all you fabulous MWCA Members!
Here are a few quick updates!
1 -- We have a LOT going on here in the next couple of months ...
If you feel overwhelmed, imagine how we feel!! 

• GARDEN THEMED ART SHOW & SALE at the Roe. Applications are open NOW through the end of March. No submission fee. https://form.jotform.com/240248838790163 - please apply soon! The show is juried by The Roe. Paintings, mixed media (etc. - 2d art) only. This show runs through August and is a GREAT way for you to get your art in front of a new audience -- members only (a nice benefit for you members!!)
• March 15: tickets go on sale for our TWO big spring events - online or drop by the art center
• March 16: Car Show (fundraiser - we will sell hotdog plates, cotton candy and popcorn) - NOTE this event will be rescheduled to 3/23 if it's raining. Car owners won't bring their cars out in the rain. It will be held... but they will reschedule if needed.  VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
• April 26: A Toast to the Arts Gala.  VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
• April 27: Garden Tour.  VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
• June 15: Monroe Blooms -- booth registration is open now.  Call or drop by the center to register for a booth -- $15 holds your spot.  You will collect your own money and handle your customers for 10% of your sales – paid to MWCA at the end of the day – with a cap of $50 (for a total of $65 paid to us). That means if you sell over $650, you keep 100% of those sales over $650. You must already be an artist in our Shop to have a pop-up shop.  Booth spaces are extremely limited!

2 -- VOLUNTEER!  (please)
Please - even if you are an active volunteer already - fill out this form to help us get better organized. Filling out the form gives us information on YOUR interests and is not a commitment to help for specific events.  We will be in touch with you, depending on what YOU express an interest in.  We are cleaning up our volunteer list, so please fill this out if you are interested in volunteering:

3 -- SHOP FOR SPRING GIFTS

4 -- SUMMER ART CAMP

6 -- TWO FUN SPRING EVENTS!!!  Tickets go on sale Friday, March 15!!!
First 150 COMBO tickets sold get a free hand-painted wine glass, painted by our artists!

7 -- HELP US PAINT WINE GLASSES
We will give away hand-painted wine glasses to the first 150 people who buy *combo* tickets to our A Toast to the Arts event on 4/26 and Garden Tour on 4/27 when they go on sale March 15!

We will have several "approved" floral designs for the glasses and instructors to help you paint. Intermediate or advanced painters only, please.
 You will learn techniques, best tools & paint to use, plus instruction on how to paint florals on wine glasses … and have a fun, relaxing time! 
 DATES:

8 -- GUILD (member-only) exclusive FREE workshop!
