YOU'RE INVITED Our Elementary Student Art Show Reception is TONIGHT (Thursday 3/24) from 6 - 7:30. Come see this happy, lively show - it comes down tonight after the reception. Our next Show is for High School Students and it opens next week on Wednesday. SCAD will judge the High School Show and award scholarships, as usual. UPCOMING SHOWS We have the Tiny Art Show & Sale and our annual Regional Juried Show coming up. All the details and guidelines are on our website, including the jurists and judge for the Regional Show. Thanks to our member, Babs Kall, who has contacts throughout the art community in Athens, we have some fabulous artists with impressive credentials as jurists. 2021 IMPACT REPORT Why support MWCA? What do we do? What are our goals and accomplishments? I think you'll be impressed with our eight-page summary of 2021 produced by our president, Laura Templeton. It's attractive, easy-to-read and very compelling! Drop by the Center for a copy. NATURE MEETS ART GARDEN TOUR on May 14 Don't miss!! Tickets will go on sale in early April and once we sell out (which we expect to) we will have to close down sales! We have seven private home gardens (all new this year!) and two very cool public gardens on this year's tour. She uses a limited palette and focuses on shape and value for her compositions.
