Our fabulous Regional Juried Show is ongoing through October 21. Please visit and invite your friends!  Many pieces have already sold!

• We have a new Creative Journaling Series starting this month.  
• Todd is back with his woodturning classes, but his September classes have already filled!!.  He is keeping a Wait List, however. I will get the October class up soon.
• FREE CREATIVE GATHERING: Monroe Makers - paint angels for our ART MD kits (supplies provided), join with other knitters and fiber artists or do your own thing (bring your own supplies)!  Thursdays from 1 - 3 - drop in & free!
• BEGINNER POTTERY: new six-week course starts Sept 28
• In the planning stages: photography and quilting!  Also some Guild meetings are being planned for this year. Stay tuned!

SPECIAL EVENTS IN SEPTEMBER

* Sept 11: 
Saturday Soiree/Patriot Day - a day of remembrance and service: two drop-in workshops - pottery, and beading.  First responders and military get 50% off our workshops on that day.
Our Service project will be making feral cat shelters with Dawn Smith, who runs a local TNR program and veterinarian Norm Reese.

* Sept 18:
Pirate Day in downtown Monroe!  Watch for specials and fun all over downtown.  We'll have some fun things going on here, too!  See the link above for details!  

FALL FEST OCTOBER 9
If you are an artist-member in our shop (or have been in the past) and would like to host a POP-UP SHOP on October 9 during the city-wide event - Fall Fest, let me know.  You set up your own table outside, handle your own transactions and settle up with us at the end of the day for only 10% of your sales.  No rental fee - what a deal!

VOLUNTEERS AND TEACHERS
We are always seeking new volunteers and teachers for kids and adult classes.
